A re-elected Cook Labor Government will provide $12 million to deliver major improvements to Cowaramup Primary School, including a brand new early childhood block.
The investment will replace outdated facilities at the South West school, so Cowaramup’s youngest students can learn in a quality, modern environment.
The new early childhood block will have modern classrooms, toilets and facilities specially suited to the needs of early childhood education, with a large floor space and wet area for art, science and other activities.
WA Labor’s commitment builds on the Cook Labor Government’s investment in regional schools, including delivery of the $36 million redevelopment of Margaret River Senior High School and more than $600,000 in improvements to Cowaramup Primary School in recent years.
It will also support WA Labor’s commitment to transform early childhood education by introducing free full-time kindy as an option for parents through a phased implementation from 2027.
