WA Labor to fix access issues to the Austin Lakes community

WA Labor has today made a significant commitment for the Austin Lakes community, confirming it would resolve longstanding access issues if re-elected.

WA Labor has today made a significant commitment for the Austin Lakes community, confirming it would resolve longstanding access issues if re-elected.

Under the commitment made by WA Labor today, $3 million would be invested to upgrade Schoales Bend, so it can become a properly designated road and remain open, while upgrades would also be made to the intersection of Forrest Highway and Beacham Road including a new acceleration lane.

In conjunction with the significant investment, WA Labor would work with relevant planning authorities, local governments, developers and the community to ensure the delivery of the enhanced access.
