WA Labor delivering for Bunbury motorsport and football community

Community sport and recreation in Bunbury will be boosted under a re-elected Cook Labor Government with $2.3 million committed for upgrades at various clubs and facilities.

Community sport and recreation in Bunbury will be boosted under a re-elected Cook Labor Government with $2.3 million committed for upgrades at various clubs and facilities.

Bunbury Speedway will receive $750,000 for canteen, toilet and accessibility upgrades and the Bunbury Motorcycle Club will also have $750,000 allocated for clubroom upgrades.

WA Labor will also invest $700,000 in minor upgrades at Carey Park Football Club, building on the existing multi-million dollar investment by the Cook Labor Government at Hands Oval down the road to bring it up to AFL standard for the historic North Melbourne Football Club home games over coming years.

Bunbury City Kart Club will also receive $100,000 for medical facilities as part of the Cook Labor Government’s overarching package for all Karting WA tracks to have standalone medical facilities.

The $2.3 million investment from WA Labor reflects its commitment to supporting regional communities and improving infrastructure at major community hubs.
