Comments attributed to Sport and Recreation Minister David Templeman:

“This is a major win for the Dwellingup, Waroona and Pinjarra communities, and I am very proud WA Labor is supporting these upgrades."

“Improvements to any facilities which encourage more women and girls to take part in sport and active recreation are a positive for the community, both from a mental and physical health perspective."

“WA Labor has a strong and proud legacy of investing in grassroots and women’s sport right around the State, and we are very keen to continue delivering on that if re-elected."

Comments attributed to Murray-Wellington MLA Robyn Clarke:

“The local ovals are a huge asset to our local community, but the facilities are dated and need to be replaced."

“With so many locals and organisations across Dwellingup, Waroona and Pinjarra using these facilities during the week and on weekends, I have no doubt this commitment to these projects will be really well-received by the communities.”
